Chi Networks Successfully Completes Fifth Successive SSAE-16 Type II Audit

Today Chi Networks CEO Sanjiv Bawa announced that his company has been awarded SSAE-16 Type II Compliance for the year 2016. This attestation resulted from a comprehensive audit of the company’s financial systems and control and business practices conducted according to rigorous standards for service organizations set by the Auditing Standards Board (ASB) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

“Over the past five years” Bawa said, “these audits have served us and our Customers well. They have been tools for success. We’ve used them to grow: to improve our business practices, our technical procedures and our Customers’ overall level of satisfaction with us.”

The SSAE-16 audit is an acknowledged indicator of an IT provider’s fiscal integrity and technological competency. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has designated it as an acceptable measure of a service organization’s ability for the assessment of a service organization’s internal controls.

The Type II report delves deeper. It examines a service organization’s extensive, self-authored system description and details the results of testing of the design and operating effectiveness an organization’s controls.

“So, bottom line,” Bawa observes, “it’s a combination of factors – our fifth successful SSAE audit, our leading-edge SLA with its 100% uptime guarantee, the unmatched personal service and data security of our Ultimate Managed Services® product – that enables that companies doing business with us to place full confidence in our ability to perform as promised.”
